Frequently asked questions

How do I access the e-learning courses?

When purchasing your tier you’ll be asked to ‘Sign up’. Your email address will be your login username. You will receive a welcome email with a link to create your own password and set up 2-Factor Authentication.

Can I learn at my own pace?

Yes! All of our modules are completely self-paced. You can start, pause, and resume modules whenever it fits into your schedule.

What browsers or devices do I need?

Our e-learning portal works best on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge.  You can access the platform via these apps from your desktop, laptop, or tablet.

What payments methods can I use?

You can pay securely by card through our online payment system. Please note that an additional fee is applied by the third-party payment provider. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please contact Jade@onboardmaritime.com directly to arrange this. 

Can I split the costs over time?

No. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase, and we do not currently offer instalment or payment plan options. 

What are your terms and conditions?

You will receive full access to the course tier that you have purchased for the duration of your selected access period. Your account will only be closed before the end of this period if:

- You break our course rules or terms or use; 
- You successfully pass your examination and notify us of this. 

Otherwise, your account will remain active until the expiry date of the access tier you have purchased. 

Can I get a refund?

No. Refunds are not provided.
